Hello and welcome to the roofer steve website.
Basically the type of work i undertake are small domestic flat roofing jobs, such as garage roofs, dormer roofs, housing extension roofs etc.
However i do undertake sub contract work for RaynorFlatRoofing (aka Raynormastic) and have included links to their flat roofing and mastic asphalt websites respectively, for those of you who need the larger project undertaking. The Type of work I do
The types of roofing i specialise in are built up felt roofing, felt roofing repair work, and small mastic asphalt roofing and repair work.
I install two types of felt roofing systems, one is the traditional "roll and pour" variety of felt roof, where the roof is complete in hot bitumen.
The other type of felt roofing system i install is the "torch on" felt roof variety, where the felt is pre coated in bitumen and applied with a gas gun (very popular nowadays)
However, that said, sometimes i apply the first felt underlayer with bitumen, and the top felt layer (mineral layer) with torch on felt.

Please note, if required, I will photograph each stage of the installation of any felt roof undertaken thus hopefully giving peace of mind in that you can see for yourself that the roof has been completed properly.
